Hello everyone!
Welcome to the International History of Detroit.
This project seeks to do two things:
1.) Tell the history of the world through the story of Detroit.
2.) Tell the history of Detroit through the story of the world.
To begin, I recommend that you first read through my Overview of Detroit History to 1898 section.
To accomplish the telling of this story – I will focus on several of the most important themes that our graduate seminar covered throughout the semester, including:
